From April 2025, Lead Schools for Music will be appointed in each Local Authority area, in line with recent DfE and Arts Council England requirements.

Lead Schools will help strengthen the focus on high-quality music education by contributing to specific aspects of the Royal Greenwich Music Services work, providing guidance, and sharing effective practices.

The Royal Greenwich Music Service will appoint one primary, secondary, and special school/alternative provision as Lead Schools for Music.
