The music service also delivers the GLP music subject leader network meetings.

  • Our First Access program gives every child the opportunity to learn a musical instrument for a full academic year. Tailored to Year 3 students, it is led by professional musicians, offering a vibrant and inspiring start to their musical journey.

    • Expert Led Sessions: Delivered by music tutors, fully trained by us.

    • Instruments: Wide range of instrument choices included

    • School Band Pathway: Built-in progression that can lead to forming a school band.

    • Performance Opportunities: In-school showcases led by our team.

    • End-of-Year Celebration: A special performance at a prestigious venue.

    Our program aligns with the DfE National Plan for Music Education and meets all guidance from the DfE Model Music Curriculum for Year 3, covering Key Stage 2 requirements for a comprehensive, enriching musical experience.

  • Our weekly small group or 1:1 tuition is delivered by highly skilled tutors who are professional musicians.  Through these focused lessons young musicians will develop technical and expressive skills in their chosen instrument or vocal style.

    • Primary and Secondary: Sessions available from KS2 and above

    • High Quality: Dedicated time to develop musicianship

    • Financial Planning: Advice available to build a sustainable program using parental contributions and Pupil Premium funding

    • Progression Pathways: Links with after school and Saturday morning music centres

  • Our Whole School Music Curriculum provides primary schools with a specialist music teacher to lead engaging, comprehensive music lessons for Year 1 to Year 6. Our ambitious curriculum not only meets but exceeds the DfE National Curriculum for Music.

    In addition to classroom lessons, our teachers can lead singing assemblies, and schools may choose to add a lunchtime or after-school choir to further enrich their music offering (subject to timetabling).
