Following on from the very successful oracy conference in the summer term, the EYFS/Primary Strategy Group, in collaboration with the GLP, have been incredibly fortunate to secure a series of oracy twilight CPD sessions with Beccy Earnshaw. These aim to support teachers/leaders in developing an oracy project in their own schools, providing an opportunity to network with other colleagues across Greenwich.
Beccy Earnshaw - founding CEO of Voice 21, the UK’s oracy education charity - was the keynote speaker at our conference in June and was hugely inspiring. More recently, Beccy has been integral to the Commission on the Future of Oracy Education in England report which will shape recommendations to lead to a systemic shift in access to oracy education in education in England.
Twilight sessions will take place from 3:30pm – 5.30pm at Meridian Primary School on the following dates:
Tuesday 26th November - Beccy will talk through the key findings from the Commission on the Future of Oracy in England and help us to strategically shape our work back in schools.
Thursday 6th February
Thursday 1st May
Participants should aim to attend all three sessions and can Book here
