Greenwich Teaching for Learning Programme

For ECTs in their 2nd year of teaching

We are excited to announce that, in collaboration with Jo Atkins and Lizzy Camp (SIAs for RBG), Greenwich Learning Partnership (GLP) is offering a bespoke programme for ECTs +1 .  Evaluations were incredibly positive from the previous cohorts and this is one of our most popular courses.

This four-session programme will facilitate strategic and professional dialogue about key aspects of teaching and learning that can be applied across the curriculum. The sessions will build on aspects of ECT training during their first year.

The sessions will take place at Wingfield, Heronsgate and Cardwell and will include:

• Research and theory

• Lesson observations and feedback of English and Maths in host school

• Opportunities for teachers to reflect on own practice and to identify areas to develop back in the classroom

Dates of sessions:

29th January 2025       Wingfield

4th March 2025           Heronsgate

25th March 2025         Cardwell

6th May 2025               Wingfield

All sessions will take place in the morning 9.15am – 12 pm.

The cost is £100 (inclusive of all four sessions) for all Greenwich Learning Partnership schools. We have limited places available.

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
