DfE Curriculum and assessment review

The Department for Education is reviewing the existing national curriculum and statutory assessment system in England, to ensure they are fit for purpose and meeting the needs of children and young people. The review panel are running a call for evidence inviting people to share:

• their ideas for potential improvements to the curriculum and assessment system

• what works well with the current system

• details of anything that doesn’t work

The call for evidence is open until 22 November 2024. 

Any feedback received will help the panel to make its first recommendations and I encourage you to put forward your views in this review.
